The nest is cute, looks strong and well done, but it's tiny! Only micro birds fit in there. It's supposed it is for finches, but I don't think that they fit in there either. I didn't send it back because the price is nothing. I think that a store like Petco should have different sizes to select, and state there a warning about the size of this one, so other customers don't make the same mistake...

This was just what I was looking for... my finches love it. I thought it was going to be too small, but the size is actually just right. It came quickly and the price was just right for me!

This is a great nest, for small soft billed birds that nest in open nest .i use it for my diamond doves. it is the perfect size ,It looks like it is made of woven stems and grasses.i would not use this for parakeets or parrot type birds because they will chew it up. it has a wire attached, that you can pull out the two ends and bend them to tie the nest onto a wire cage or you can use a plastic...

I bought this for my cockatiel and she LOVES it. She spends lots of time pulling the alfalfa out and chewing on the woven branches. It's perfect for smaller parrots to wear their beaks down. I also put a few treats in the bottom and fill it with toys. She throws out the toys and searchs for seeds in the alfalfa. Hours of entertainment!

i am so happy i have purchased the small nest for my two little finches, they love it, when i first placed it on their cage they went to check it out and started trying to rebuild it....the first night i found them sleeping there, they sleep there everynight...i find this adorable when i go and see them inside...no eggs yet. i read finches love to sleep in nests. Get it and your little something...

I got one of these nests so my male and female parekets would lay eggs. instead, the are eating the alfalfa out of the nest, and leaving it a simple skeleton. i put 5 paws for pet satisfaction bcause it makes a great treat though! I hope it's not bad for them :(
Perfect !
I am new to the Bird scene...we have purchased finches. These nests are just perfect for them. They sat on these like a couch, all four of these little guys! Perfect !
