The santoku handles the tasks with ease, as opposed to my old knife which could not slice through a sweet potato. This knife is more expensive than many of its competitors, but if you try this knife out and then try out the other brands, you will definitely see and feel the difference. Using price grabber, I was able to purchase this product for about half of retail price.

High Quality...

Strengths: Versatile, sharp, well balanced cutlery

Weakness: None

High Quality Craftmanship.Extremely sharp and versatile knife for my wife's kitchen. I was skeptical of premium priced cutlery, but now even I appreciate the quality results with this knife. Food Channel was the original source of my wife's interest in this general type of Wusthof knife. This specific model fit the bill perfectly.

Great knife, a must-have for every kitchen
