Orion Stainless Steel Charcoal CONVECTION Cooker
Strengths: Speed and ease of use. Stainless!
Weakness: Bottom tray could be single piece instead of welded.
I read about this cooker in Popular Mechanics magazine and thought for a while about getting one. I already own 2 smokers, a turkey deep fryer, and BIG gas grill. I found this cooker on sale and jumped on it. Everything we have tried has come out perfect! Great cooker. Easy to use. Dry rub 24hrs and/or inject meats for best results.
This is One Fast Cooker!!!
Strengths: Quick and easy to prepare smoker. Food is moist and evenly cooked.
Weakness: Not really a weakness, but seasoning does not stay well on surface of food. So be sure to marinate and inject seasoning if feasible. Then spray meat with a cooking oil (such as olive oil).
A little pricey at $139 from Home Depot. Prices should decline over time. Stainless steel and sturdy construction should last for a long time. I use a little less than half the amount of coal for smoking meat compared to my other smoker. The oil spray I recommended gives the meat a slight glaze when cooked.

Strengths: quality construction, easy to use, easy to clean,no standing over a hot smoker for several hours turning meat
Weakness: cant use the racks for anything else if your cooking ribs
best money i ever spent for a cooker or grill. ribs came out perfect after 75 minutes. wife and kids gobbled them up.easy clean up too, just toss components in dishwasher.will purchase another for the father-in-law for christmas. excellent product.
