Weakness: Poor design, need a hammer or Dremel to build it.

I can't believe the low quality control on this. It says no tools required but a rubber mallet is 'recommended'. I challenge anyone at Rubbermaid to put it together without a tool to force the posts in. Who knows, maybe I got one from a very bad production run. I challenge anyone at Rubbermaid to put it together without a tool to force the posts in. Who knows, maybe I got one from a very bad production run. I ended up using my Dremel to make the holes in the rear panels bigger (the part I found was the main issue). I should have stopped there and packed it up but figured it seemed sturdy enough so I finished building it. Once built I loaded some tools in it and tried to insert a lock in the door holes. Nope, even though I purchased the exact same Master locks shown on the box I found the lock bolt was too large to fit into the door holes. I know this is not a high-end cabinet, but expected much more from Rubbermaid, like something that actually worked as advertised? So, in summary, if you purchase this your back panels may have the holes drilled wrong so the posts are up to an inch off. If that's the case you'll either have to drill the holes out or pound the thing together. Also, it may be lockable, but buy locks with very thin bolts. The ones shown on the box are too large. It doesn't really matter though, as it takes all of one minute to pop the top off because it's not fastened in any way. I was actually going to keep it because I got it on sale for $139, but after dealing with a horrendous customer service rep (sharon f) I believe I'll just throw the whole thing in the back of my van and take it back. Even though I used Rubbermaid's own web site support form and included the part number, place I bought it, and the problems I experienced, all sharon wanted to do was shuffle me off to a 1-800 line and retell my problem. Sorry, I've wasted enough time on Rubbermaid, I have no desire to be placed into a phone support queue and waste another half hour.
